We’re making it even more affordable to get a smile you’ll love

Spoiler alert: Your insurance might help you save even more on clear aligners.

Did you hear the news? Getting a smile you’ll love is easier and more affordable than ever before.

We’re excited to announce we are in-network with UnitedHealthcare to offer pre-purchase savings on clear aligners for anyone covered by UnitedHealthcare dental with orthodontic care. What does that mean? If you’re covered by UnitedHealthcare, you can take advantage of that insurance savings before you even pull out the credit card (instead of being reimbursed after).

According to a recent UnitedHealthcare survey, nearly half of Americans are planning to make improving their oral health a priority this year. And now, more than 1.5 million UnitedHealthcare dental plan participants can get clear aligners for less than $1000, making SmileDirectClub more affordable than ever.

This grin-changing partnership is one of the first of its kind, increasing access to clear aligner therapy through teledentistry (under the care of our network of more than 240 dentists and orthodontists).

“People in over 60 percent of U.S. counties do not have access to an orthodontist,” says SmileDirectClub co-founder Alex Fenkell. “SmileDirectClub increases access to a better, straighter smile through our teledentistry platform, giving more patients a convenient way to get the orthodontic care they need. By working with UnitedHealthcare, we will enable more people to get the smiles they’ll love and improve their confidence.”
