A Shipping Update from Our Co-Founders

Future & Current Grinners,

We posted a letter earlier this summer acknowledging that many of our customers were experiencing delayed aligner shipments, which was ultimately due to the unforeseen and unprecedented growth of our business. As promised, the entire SmileDirectClub team has worked around the clock to not only catch up on these delayed orders, but also to find a timely solution to prevent this in the future. Today, we’re very excited to announce that the light at the end of the tunnel is near!

What this means for you:

  • We will be transitioning new customers who order aligners to receive all aligners at once. No more waiting for monthly shipments. You’ll get every single aligner in your smile plan at one time, in one beautiful blurple box.
  • If you’re currently in treatment and waiting for your monthly aligner shipment, we first and foremost want to thank you for your patience and for weathering this storm with us. We are working hard to get your next set of aligners produced and shipped to you as quickly as possible. By the end of September, our lab will be caught up, and we will begin sending out your remaining monthly aligners at one time. This transition will get you back on your smile plan schedule for good.
