white smile wedding day bride and groom

A Smile As White As Your Wedding Gown

You want a brighter, whiter smile on your wedding day, and we are here to help you get it! Here are some time-tested tips to achieve your whitest smile before you say “I do.”

1. Clean your aligners.

Always clean your aligners before putting them in. Soak them in soap and warm water or a retainer cleaner to clean out lingering germs. Rinse with cool water after cleaning. Brush and floss your teeth before inserting.

Don’t forget to remove aligners while eating. Drink only cool water with aligners in – avoid hot and sugary drinks. Skip the denture cleaners or mouthwash on your aligners, as they can stain them.

2. Use our bright on™ premium whitening.

Start by brushing your teeth; do not floss. Remove the cap and twist pen from bottom until gel is visible on brush. In a circular motion, brush gel onto teeth, focusing on the front teeth. Replace cap. Gel will foam and penetrate teeth in 5 minutes. Spit out excess. Don’t rinse, eat, or drink for 20 minutes after application. Avoid dark-staining foods and liquids for 24 hours after each use.

3. Brush and floss with care.

Always choose a soft-bristled toothbrush. Brush for 2 minutes every time you eat, or at least twice a day. Choose a fluoridated toothpaste and be sure to gently brush your tongue (from back to front, rinsing after each stroke) to remove bacteria. Floss between teeth and under gums. Keep small, portable brushes with you in your purse.

4. Be mindful of what you eat and drink.

Avoid those that stain, like cola, coffee, tea, red wine, hot fudge, marinara, barbecue and soy sauces, cranberry juice, and blueberries. When drinking dark liquids or citrus drinks, use a straw to sip. Keep chewy candy to a minimum. Enjoy raw fruit and vegetables, like carrots, apples, and cauliflower, to help keep your teeth clean. Rinse the acid off your teeth after eating oranges, lemons, and limes.
